What’s The Best Snow Sled Money Can Buy?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s always fun to talk about lax gear. Shoot, lax is my favorite thing to do in the winter. I turn the furnace up to 82 degrees, clear the floor of all obstacles, and play indoor lax throughout my house nearly every single day. It’s probably my favorite thing to do in the Winter. NBD. But as one smart commenter recently noted, this blog used to be a lot more fun!

And with that in mind, I think it’s time for us to turn our attention over to the second most fun thing to do in the Winter – SLEDDING!

I’ve had quite a few awesome sleds over the years. I try to upgrade every 4-5 years. My first sled? It looked something like this 6-foot Toboggan:

I had a few others after that, but the Kick Sled was always my favorite. It may or may not have helped me get girls in high school and it doubled as a lounge chair for Saturday College Football.

Now I’m in the market for a new sled for Winter 2011-12. I want something that screams awesome. Something that fits 2 people (me and my girl!). So far, I’ve stumbled upon a great deal from REI, the Eurosled Rock ‘N Rip Sled:

It’s pretty basic, but I think it meets my requirements. Plus the price is right, so I think I might have to bite the bullet. I might even grab a Snofling too.

Now it’s time for you guys to chime in – WHAT KIND OF SLED DO YOU RIDE?
