All custom, all the time. If you’re a high school lacrosse player with an infatuation for gear, you might want to try to add this event to your calendar next year! Players at the showcase received custom Black Card uniforms by Adrenaline, Rome lacrosse gloves by Maverik, and a brand new R helmet by Cascade.

All players were color coordinated based on which class they were in, 2015′s sporting black mitts and matte black domes and 2016′s with gray mitts and matte grey domes.

Holy Cross plays Navy at noon at Citi Field today, St. Patrick’s Day. After the HC – USNA game, Colgate and Michigan go to work, and that game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Tommy Gilligan will be there, shooting for LAS, and we’ll have game photos next week.

Nike recently released a glimpse of 10 new uniforms for a few of their sponsored teams, and it seems that the “no name” jersey trend is only getting hotter.  I recently wrote about Gonzaga’s new no name uniforms but now Michigan State, USC, and UT have jumped on board with a slick change in appearance.

I think the no name uniform is the ultimate in swagger.  To me it says, “our logo, our team, our reputation, is so big we don’t even have to tell you who we are.”  I hope at least a few lacrosse teams that rep Nike uniforms will join the trend.  Who do you think will be first?

Fresh STX Cell IIs for the Bears. Speaking of Bears, how great is that logo placement on the stomach?

Warrior and Brine continue to drop all their new gear for the upcoming 2013 season and it continues to impress us as well.

That seagull is boss.

Maroon and gold goes together so well and we love the gold accents between the knuckles. The defending champs will look great in these King IVs this year.

Here is yet another look at Michigan’s new gloves for the 2013 season. The 2nd year NCAA D1 squad is getting spoiled!

Maize and blue for the Wolverines. I think I am most excited to see what other cuffs Michigan will throw on these gloves.

Another noticeable feature of the team’s new look is that there is no mention of school name anywhere on the uniform.  Instead of names, the back of the uniform does say Bulldogs, but no Gonzaga anywhere and I love it.  The jerseys make a statement.

To me they say America knows who we are and we don’t need our jerseys to tell them.  I wonder if we’ll see any no name jerseys on the lacrosse field this season.

The Lutes won’t be hard to spot in these, this season.

Pacific Lutheran University’s (PLU) men’s lacrosse team, an MCLA DII team out of Tacoma, Washington, received a complete practice makeover for the 2013 season.  While the practice uniforms are a huge contrast to PLU’s simple all white or all black game uniforms, I’ll give them some credit for freshening up the field a bit this season.  I played my college ball at PLU and despite not loving argyle on any uniform, I do like the text that the team’s head coach had designed into the jersey.  Will PLU ever wear something like this in a game? I don’t know, but they are definitely fun to look at and I’m sure the team appreciates a much needed new look for the practice field.

Lauren Reid of Atlantic Sportswear sent me some mock ups of recent work they have done. I love where the women’s swag game is headed… Creative, colorful, but clean.

For Bowdoin Women’s Lacrosse – Spring Break practice pinnie. In person, the pink is bright but not overly so. I like the school emblem on the back, but might have switched the placement of the emblem and the number.

For San Diego club lacrosse – Hawaiian Invitational jerseys. I’m digging the “Endless Summer” theme. The colors also really help show off players tans; an important factor.

That definitely helps make the tan pop!

This spring, Lone Star Lacrosse will be wearing a 3-piece set from Pro Athletics, which feature several bottle cap seal designs that represent the History of Texas (Remember the Alamo, Texas’ statehood in 1845) and some of the men who made the state great (Sam Houston and Cordell Walker).

On Saturday 12/15, Lone Star will be taking the field for the Jingle Brawl, a SR A/B Boxla tournament in Houston, Texas hosted by the Texas Box Lacrosse Association. They put together some very special reversibles just for the tournament!

The camo side of the reversible, is closely modeled after the limited edition camo packaging of Lone Star beer, featuring a camouflage pattern designed for the outdoors of Texas and the southwestern United States.

The black side features the Lone Star Bock logo and our Remember the Alamo bottle cap seal on the front and a faint ghost image of the ram design and Lone Star Lacrosse bottle cap seal on the back.

To try to continue that jump to the positive, Binghamton has invested in some aggressive pinnies, and for once, we actually think the digi camo looks pretty good.
