New STX Arm Pads On Hopkins Attack?

Wondering what armguards the Hopkins attackmen were wearing this past weekend?

They were wearing the beefed up versions of the Cell 2 armguards. The Cell X armguards were designed specifically for box lacrosse, it really isn’t unusual to see Zach Palmer and Brandon Benn wear them since they have a box background but it is unusual to see them go with the stock option:

There is also an adjustable/removable wrist strap on the pads but, evidently, none of the players opted to wear them.

Also noted: Usually we’re used to seeing defense wear the tiny cell elbow pads but here we see Tucker Durkin wear the shadow elbow sleeve.

Holy Cross St. Paddy’s Day Gear

ProAthletics got the nod to help Holy Cross celebrate St. Paddy’s day in NYC with style, and the ProA boys deliver for the Crusaders nicely with helmet wraps and shooting shirts. The Purple Shamrock? Darn shame that place closed down. Boston will never be the same.

Holy Cross plays Navy at noon at Citi Field today, St. Patrick’s Day. After the HC – USNA game, Colgate and Michigan go to work, and that game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Tommy Gilligan will be there, shooting for LAS, and we’ll have game photos next week.

A while back, we brought a bunch of faded facemasks from Cascade. Today we get to showcase even more fade, this time thanks to Warrior Lacrosse. Meet the very special Warrior TII helmets that Princeton will be wearing this season.

First Look creeps on with a great look at the MD4 gloves by Warrior Lacrosse that both UMass and Drexel will be sporting this year.

First off, UMass, then Drexel.

Sharp looking hand protection for both teams. I’m surprised George Bush hasn’t confused these for WMD’s yet and prohibited them from play.

First Look: Hofstra Arm Guards

Hofstra Lacrosse got loaded up with some new arm protection today courtesy of Warrior Lacrosse.

Warrior Burn arm guards, arm pads and elbow pads for the Pride.

These will be sure to help protect Hofstra from having their ‘pride’ hurt. Anyone? Anyone…?

First Look: Drexel Domes and Mercyhurst Gloves

First Look gets a peek at some new equipment for Mercyhurst and Drexel.

Mercyhurst got the Brine King IV treatment and went for an all green and white colorway with subtle navy accents on the back of the hand and cuff.

Drexel went away from their red accents of last year and kept to the all blue and gold look. I really hope they keep with the red cleats and socks. There is something about the red accent that really stands out and looks just downright mean.
