According to Sneakernews.com, “Last year, Nike Football released the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid ‘Alpha Pack’ just before kick-off of Superbowl XLV, a shoe that was deemed one of the thirty best sneaker released of 2011.”
Well last night, thanks to our handy lax-mostly Twitter feed (follow us at @SweetSweetLax) we came across Nike’s new football cleat, the Nike Vapor Talon Elite. Nike is not only trying to tie records for longest cleat name during this Superbowl Sunday, they’re also using this cleat to launch a serious online ad campaign.
Behold the Nike Vapor Talon Elite.
But that’s not even the best part. Nike is also releasing the Vapor Trainer, a lightweight athletic shoe, and they’re packaging limited pairs together in what they’re calling the “Elite 51 Vapor Pack.” I don’t know where you can get it, but I’ll be heading to Niketown in San Francisco to find out.
