Laxology Gear

Nothing is worse than when your gamer blows out a sidewall, leaving you with no choice but to dig through every teammates bag in hopes of finding one random string to fix the issue.  Fortunately for lacrosse players everywhere, Laxology has developed a number of products that not only look good, but will take the worry out of your stringing game.  I came across Laxology about a week ago, shortly after Jeff posted a photo of the GTG Shooter bracelet I wear on Instagram.  After cruising through their website I reached out to the guys at Laxology and recently sat down with President/founder Jeremy Arcaro to find out more about their products.

Jeremy explained that, like many of our readers, his business partner, James, and himself were always the stringers on their high school and college teams, which meant everyone was always asking them for extra sidewall.  Rather than keep a roll of sidewall in their bags and hand out piece after piece every season, the two decided to create a product that they could give to players that would be both stylish and functional.  What they came up with was a series of fashionable products, all made with sidewall string that you can pull apart and fix a stick with if you are really in a bind.

Laxology started with the OTF (On the Field) bracelet, which has about 20 feet of sidewall and is customizable by two color options.  From there they created the “Fast Break,” a smaller bracelet – about 8 feet of sidewall, that features a unique slip knot design, allowing it to pull apart quickly when you need to get back on the field fast.  The Fast Break is made with one color of sidewall and comes with a pretty sweet glow-in-the-dark stopper for a little added flair.  More recently, Laxology has released the OTF 2.0, which has the same specs as the original but adds the option of a third color strand that can be used as a bottom string.  The LaxIQ is Laxology’s key chain, made of 8 feet of sidewall, which can be clipped to any gear bag or key ring.  And as of this last week, Laxology now makes a necklace.  Check them out below.  You can get your own here.
