The Chill Gloves by Maverik Lacrosse are Maverik’s beginner to intermediate glove for all the little laxers just jumping into the sport. At a price point of $88.99, these are well-priced and won’t break the bank while still allowing you to outfit your little one with a great pair of lacrosse gloves.

While we usually review higher end gear for more experienced players, we also think it’s important to educate our younger readers, and their parents, on what makes good gear.

Featuring the same SharkSkin and SharkGel as Maverik’s premier line of gloves, the Chill utilizes the best technology Maverik has to offer along with the new XFoam technology to help absorb impact while keeping the overall weight down.

Don’t overlook this glove, as Maverik hasn’t cut any corners in making this mitten. All the great details of other Maverik gloves are featured on this one as well. The palms are a two-piece suede material, and they are very similar to some top of the line gloves other companies sell. Very cool!

As mentioned before, the protection is still there for this glove. The three-piece cuff and very flexible backhand allows just about anyone to get a great feel for their stick while keeping their hands protected from wild checks. This is key to helping youngsters hone great skills on the field!
