First Look: LIU Post Gear Explosion!

Brandon Bertone of the CW Post LIU Post Pioneers sent me a couple pics of what the Pioneers will be wearing this season. Fun Fact: LIU Post formally and often referred to as CW Post is named after breakfast cereal inventor Charles William Post.
The Pioneers compete in the ECC (NCAA D2) and are located in Nassau County, New York. LIU Post embraces their green and gold colors on all their gear this year. The fad in the NCAA and MCLA this year seems to be oversized decals and chrome everything. The Pioneers chose to go with a solid green cascade Pro-7 with a gold cage and oversized decals done up by Zima Gear.

Pioneers on the visor is classy

Yep that’s gold.
Thankfully the Pioneers go with custom numbers here instead of the cursed MLL sticker.

The Pioneers get these custom Gait Recon gloves and arm pads, the “Pioneers” embroided on the knuckles, “P” logo and number on the cuffs give these gloves some serious character.

There is something about these shooter shirts that I really like; it’s very simple and bright. It’s nice to know that college teams still use Russell apparel.

Here is the uniform form kit for the Pioneers.

When going through these pics, first thought that went through my mind was Siena. They also wear Gait equipment with the same colorway. Who does it better? I’m going with LIU Post because they wear team striped socks.
