Doug Trettin’s EverPocket2: Redux

You may remember when we first introduced the EverPocket to you guys… it was a traditional pocket that could be transferred from one head to another, and had been around since the 1980s, but had never really taken off in a major way. Well now the EP is back… so say hello to the EverPocket2, and see how the product is improving and evolving!

This is a very intriguing concept! Here is a little more information from Doug Trettin, the creator of the EverPocket and EP2, who runs SonofaHon, down in Maryland:

At some point, I hope to offer both the leathers & button-links for others to use to string AND I hope to offer pre-strung pockets (from a loom) for easier installation.  To compliment both the leather & button option and the pre-strung option, I plan on having YouTube tutorial videos for each process.

All I can really say is:
  • Single piece high-grade aluminum button-links
  • Evolutionary Standard, Traditional pocket with optimal suspension, channeling, and release.
  • Made for Defensemen, Middies, and Attackmen
  • Highest quality materials
  • Made in USA

I’ll be sending a head to Doug in the near future so we can try this out myself, but from the looks of that new Easton head, this pocket is legit!
