There is definitely an inherent overlap between lacrosse and football.  Whether it be through the similarities between physical contact sports that just so happen to take place in opposite seasons, or through big-time names like Bill Belichick, Derek Kerney, Heath Evans, Will Yeatman, and other football stars (e.g. Jim Brown) that are involved in lacrosse, there is, in fact, a bond.

Classic

Currently, Professional football is the Gold Standard for iconic logos.  It is only my hope that in the future, logos of the Bayhawks, the Stealth, the Rock, and Outlaws are equally as iconic.  I (and probably most of my fellow laxers) want to look back in 20 some years and think of these current professional lacrosse team logos as vintage and iconic.
