Casey Connor Joins Maverik Lacrosse

Long Island City, NY – Maverik Lacrosse is proud to announce that Casey Connor has come on-board as its new Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager based in Baltimore, MD.

Connor comes to Maverik from Under Armour where he worked in the sports marketing department. In his new role at Maverik, Casey will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with sponsored athletes, along with collegiate and high school programs, while also collaborating on sales and marketing initiatives.

“Casey is the perfect fit for our company and is the type of person we will call on to help us grow the brand and expand our presence in the Mid-Atlantic market,” said John Gagliardi, founder and President of Maverik Lacrosse. “I am excited about having him join our team and am confident he will have an immediate impact.”

Connor also boasts an impressive collegiate and professional lacrosse playing resume. Casey played his collegiate lacrosse at the University of Maryland where he served as the Terps’ team captain in his senior year and was a big part of their ACC championship team in 1998. His collegiate accomplishments include being named a second-team All-American as a senior in 2000 and playing in 62 career games in his four years as a Terp. Professionally, Casey has played in the LXM Pro Tour since its inception and prior to that he played as a defenseman for the Rochester Rattlers (’01 and ’02) and Washington Bayhawks (’03 – ’08) of Major League Lacrosse (MLL). He also played two years (’01 and ’02) in the NLL for the Washington Power, now the Colorado Mammoth.
